The Vision
Centre Parcs Longford Forest represents a £233 million investment in family leisure—Ireland’s first Centre Parcs village, nestled within 400 acres of beautiful Irish woodland. With over 400 self-catering lodges and 100 indoor and outdoor activities planned, the bowling centre needed to deliver the quality and reliability that Centre Parcs guests expect.
The challenge was creating an 8-lane facility that would appeal to all ages, withstand heavy family use, and maintain Centre Parcs’ reputation for excellence across every activity.
The Solution
MJH Events delivered a complete new bowling installation working as part of a joint project with Complete Bowling Services and Vollmer Bowling. Our team managed the full scope: LED lighting systems, new seating, automatic bumpers, ball returns, synthetic lanes, string pinsetter machines, foundations, scoring systems, and complete equipment including balls, pins, and shoes.
Every element was specified for durability and family-friendly operation. The installation timeline was critical—Centre Parcs’ opening schedule demanded precision project management to ensure bowling was ready alongside the village’s other 100 activities.
